    NPFL: Ikorodu City, two others record away wins

    Ikorodu City, Bayelsa United and Kwara United recorded away wins in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, on Sunday.

    It was the first time the three clubs will be winning on the road in the NPFL this season.

    Ikorodu City came from a goal down to beat Katsina United 2-1 at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium.

    The hosts took the lead through Moses Effiong after 18 minutes.




    Ikorodu however claimed maximum points courtesy of Solomon Alade and Emmanuel Solomon’s goals.

    At the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, Bayelsa United stunned Rivers United 1-0.

    Rivers United have now lost their last two league games.

    Emmanuel Ogbole scored the decisive goal as Kwara United claimed a 1-0 victory over Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium.
