Enyimba forward Clinton Jephta has expressed his delight after scoring against Heartland.
Jephta netted the second and third goal in Enyimba’s 3-1 over Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday.
The former Niger Tornadoes striker revealed the reason behind his double strike.
“I feel so happy and feel so great for playing for the biggest club in the Nigeria Premier Football League,” he told the club’s media.
“To be sincere I needed to up my game with serious intensity, which helped me with the goals.
“I was so happy and so excited for the victory as well.”
