Lobi Stars Technical Adviser, Eugene Agagbe, has said his team was unlucky in the draw against Akwa United.
The Makurdi club started their 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League campaign with a 0-0 draw against the Promise Keepers.
Lobi Stars dominated the game but were let down by their poor finishing.
A disappointed Agagbe said his team deserved more from the game.
“My boys played with character, but luck escaped them,” he stated in a post-match interview.
“We hope to do better in our subsequent games.”
