Ahmed Musa is looking forward to scoring more goals for Kano Pillars after a remarkable start to his third stint at the club.
Musa was the star of the show as the four-time Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions handed Sunshine Stars a 2-0 defeat at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium on Sunday.
The 31-year-old scored in the fifth and 51 minutes respectively.
The forward later won a penalty on 71 minutes which he failed to convert.
Musa, who expressed his delight with the win, promised to score more goals for the Sai Masu Gida.
“Back in familiar colors, and it feels so good! Grateful to the entire backroom staff, my teammates, management of Kano Pillars FC for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to return,” he wrote on X.
“To the amazing supporters and everyone who came out to watch, thank you for the love and energyy! Scoring two goals and earning that penalty was just the start – we’ve got a lot more coming!”
