NPFL: Nasarawa United coach Dogo questions officiating in draw with Tornadoes

Nasarawa United head coach, Kabiru Dogo has questioned the performance of match officials in the team’s goalless draw against Niger Tornadoes.

Dogo believed that his team’s goal was wrongfully cancelled by the referee.

He however commended both teams for their overall performance in the game.

“Congratulations to both teams, at least we shared the points, even though right inside me, I won the game,” Dogo told Nasarawa United Media.

“However, we take it in good faith. Only the referee can explain why he cancelled that goal. He was closer to the ball than me, so, he has the final decision in this circumstance.

“Generally, both sides played good football this evening.

“I have a promising side. I believe so much in them, and with time, we will do better.”
