Rangers have described their matchday five fixture against Abia Warriors as a battle for Pride.
The Flying Antelopes will host Abia Warriors in an Oriental derby clash at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Sunday.
Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side believed that the encounter is more than a game.
“More than a game, it’s a battle for pride. The Oriental rivalry on Sunday.” Rangers wrote on X.
Rangers will be hoping extend their bragging rights over Abia Warriors in the game.
The eight-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions have won seven matches, while Abia Warriors won six matches with five matches ending in draw.
Rangers defeated Abia Warriors 3-2 in the same fixture last season.
