Remo Stars players will wear black armbands in their next home game against Bendel Insurance.
The gesture is to honour one of the staunch supporters of the club who died on Monday.
A minute silence will also be observed before the game for the departed fan.
Remo Stars will lock horns with Bendel Insurance in Ikenne on Sunday, October 20.
“With deep regret, we announce the death of one of our staunch fans, Ajala Monsuru. Monsuru’s passion and dedication to watching our games in Ikenne will never be forgotten,” Remo Stars wrote on X.
“Players will wear black armbands in our next home game and a minute of silence observed in his honour.”
Remo Stars will take on Plateau United in a midweek fixture on Thursday.
