Shooting Stars have promised to reward its players with a double bonus should they secure the victory over Nasarawa United.

The Chairman of the club, Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro disclosed this while addressing the players in Ijebu-Ode on Thursday.

Akoro reassured that the management has prioritized the welfare of the players for the new season.

“I am here representing His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde and the good people of the state, and I want to assure you that they are all behind you,” Akoro stated to the players.

“One thing that is peculiar with us here is that we prioritise players’ welfare. You can ask those who have been with us before now, they will testify to this.

“Having seen you play two friendly matches here and having seen you in training, I can see the maturity in you guys, but I still want to see that cohesion in the team.”

The Oluyole Warriors will trade tackle with the Solid Miners in their opening fixture of the 2024-25 season on Sunday.
