Kano Pillars technical adviser, Usman Abdallah has described Sunday’s matchday 10 victory over Plateau United as a morale booster.
Abdallah stated that the win showed the fighting spirit in the team.
Kano Pillars came back from a goal down to win the game.
Gafar Saka opened scoring for Plateau United, while Pillars fought back with goals from Rabiu Ali and Ahmed Musa.
“This victory shows the fighting spirit of our team,” Abdallah stated in a post-match interview.
Kano Pillars moved up to eighth position with 14 points following the win.
The Sai Masu Gida will be up against Bendel Insurance in their game.
