Nasarawa Amazon midfielder, Chinyere Mercy Kalu is on the verge of completing a move to Spanish Liga F side, Real Betis.
Kalu departed the shores of the country on Saturday to finalise the move to Real Betis.
She was one of the standout performers for Nasarawa Amazons in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) last season.
The 18-year-old also represented Nigeria at the 2022 U-20 World Cup in Costa Rica.
Kalu’s move is expected to be made official by the club once the final details are finalized.
She will be the first Nigerian to play for Real Betis.
