Ogun 2023 : Eight Opposition Parties Set To Adopt AA GOV. Candidate ,Adeyemi

The  Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance  in Ogun State, and the only  candidate  with multiple qualifications, Dr Samuel Adeyemi is set to  emerge as  the consensus  Governorship candidate in the state following his adoption by about  eight opposition parties in the state.

PLATFORM TIMES reliably gathered  that a new force is evolving  following the new moves by some opposition parties numbering about eight  to form  alliance. .

PLATFORM TIMES further gathered that ahead of the Saturday governorship and house of assembly elections, the parties have  reportedly begun moves to partner with the AA governorship candidate.

The AA governorship candidate in the state, is a veterinary Doctor at the age of 22 ;  a Pharmacist ; holder of the LL.B degree with Honours and a chatered accountant .

Adeyemi  might be   adopted as  the governorship candidate  in the state .

PLATFORM TIMES further gathered that the leadership of AA has begun series of meetings with them ahead of the Saturday election  .

Recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission has announced that  13 political parties would be participating in the governorship and house of assembly elections in the state .

It was learned that with the exception of  the All Progressives Congress , People’s Democratic Party and African Democratic Congress   others opposition parties have begun the moves to form  alliance with AA of Adeyemi .

Speaking on the latest development, the leader  of  AA in the state,  Hon. Dapo Adeyemi  confirmed the meetings with different t stakeholders including political parties and individuals .

Adeyemi who is the leader of the party said about eight political  parties were already in talks with the governorship candidate of the Action Alliance .

He said the talks had reached advanced stage with him, adding that agreement has  almost been  perfected  and the resolution would soon be made open .

 Adeyemi however,   declined to disclose the parties involved .

He  said ” the leadership of AA has  just finished speaking with some of the opposition parties, about eight of them.

“We just finalized a meeting  with them and we are hopeful, because of the programmes of the party and the fact that the candidate  is someone  to be reckoned wirh .

“We are  very hopeful that the man has not been polluted in terms of credibility, capability and programmes.. We have a better chance to be adopted by the eight political parties

“They said the party is lucky to have the candidate, considering his programmes. Despite that he is not a moneybag “

.Attempts to get comments from some opposition political parties on the repeated move failed as they did not answer calls and had nit responses to messages sent to them .
