Ogun State government has disclosed that among the real estates in the State, Pelican-Brief Estate is the first developer to get total approval from the state government.
The Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Town Planner, Kayode Odunlami, claimed this today during the commissioning of Electrification projects at the Kobape estate, Abeokuta the state capital.
Odunlami encourages anyone who is interested in buying a plot of land to patronize the company without any doubt of been scammed.
He added that 98% of developers in the state do not go through the right process which is causing a lot of problems in the state.
The Commissioner explained that the state government is doing all that is necessary to create an enabling environment for private companies, in order for the Private-Public partnership initiative of the government to strive, stressing that Pelican-Brief has supported the government to further realise such agenda.
Odunlami therefore assures of the state government’s support and recognition of the project, saying that Tunde Adeyemo met all the requirements needed to develop the estate which makes him a diligent and persistent personality.
He also uses the opportunity to reinstate Dapo Abiodun’s commitment to affordable housing in the state saying the development has begun.
In his remarks, the CEO Pelican Boss Tunde Adeyemo, said it took a lot of diligence to discover the location of the estate. He says they are Igniting a smart city at the location.
“The Electrification and construction of basic amenities is in progress to provide an enabling environment to estate companies to Foster”.
He therefore assures that they add values to their customers by making them ambassadors after their patronage.
Speaking with Newsmen at the event were some of pelican’s client Mr Adeyinka Adedeyinbo Who claimed he moved to the house he bought from pelican affirming that they had no issue since their dealings with him since seven years ago.
He said” like he uses to say, you should have value for your money, and indeed we got the value, he is trustworthy”.
However, Odunlami called on other land advertisers and developers to ensure they get government approval, thereby encouraging Mr. Tunde to do more.
