The Ogun State Police Command has decorated former Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abimbola Oyeyemi, with the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), recognising his outstanding service to the Force.
The event, which honoured eighteen newly promoted officers, saw family, friends, and colleagues gather to celebrate the achievements of the senior officers.
CSP Oyeyemi, now Officer-in-Charge, General Investigation, SCID Eleweran, was among the standout promotees, applauded for his dedication, discipline, and commitment to public safety.
Other officers decorated included CSP Olorundare Bolanle, Divisional Traffic Officer, Agbado, who delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of her colleagues, and CSP Kamorudeen Olabisi, Divisional Police Officer, Ifo Division.
The ceremony reflected a collective sense of pride, honouring the officers’ unwavering service to the Force and the nation.
The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, reminded the promotees that their new ranks come with heightened responsibility and accountability.
He urged them to continue justifying the confidence placed in them by Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, through professionalism, diligence, and commitment to safeguarding lives and property across the state.
