Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan, representing Ogun West Senatorial Constituency, has garnered widespread acclaim and commendation for his unwavering commitment to advancing education and industrialization.

The senator’s sponsorship of the Bill for the establishment of the Federal College of Geological and Cement Studies in Iselu-Ketu, Yewa North, Ogun State, has received high praise from various quarters.

In a letter of appreciation penned by the Ketu Advancement Forum (KAF), acting on behalf of HRM Oba Akintude Akinyemi, the Eselu of Iselu Kingdom, and the entire Ketu community, Senator Adeola’s visionary leadership is acknowledged with profound gratitude.

The bill recently passed its first reading in the Senate, signifying a significant step towards the realization of this vital educational institution.

KAF commends Senator Adeola for his unswerving focus on nurturing the next generation of human capital, a mission that aligns seamlessly with the government’s agenda to diversify Nigeria’s economy.

This commitment to empowering the youth with relevant skills has not only earned Senator Adeola accolades but also serves as an inspirational example for the younger generation.

The proposed location of the Federal College of Geological and Cement Studies in Iselu-Ketu holds immense strategic importance.

This region boasts one of the largest limestone deposits in Nigeria, a critical resource for the nation’s development.

Consequently, the establishment of the college in this locale is poised to play a pivotal role in the industrialization of Ogun State and the nation as a whole.

KAF has therefore fervently urged Senator Adeola to employ his legislative prowess in rallying members of both Chambers of the National Assembly to support the swift passage of the bill.

This united effort will pave the way for the establishment of an institution that promises to be a beacon of hope, not just for Iselu and Ketuland, but for the entire nation.

Coordinator-General of Ketu Advancement Forum, Kunle Abiose, and  Secretary-General, Dotun Adeleye also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Senator Adeola for his steadfast commitment to the betterment of their community and Nigeria as a whole.
