A Community Development Non-Governmental Organisation has lent his voice to the commendations pouring in for the development oriented Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District over the unprecedented development initiatives across Ogun West and especially the ongoing rehabilitation works that commenced on the abandoned Abeokuta-Ayetoro-Imeko road.
The Executive Secretary of the NGO, Mr. Kabir Olaleye reiterated that the road has been a nightmare to travellers over the years, no thanks to the gullies and damaged portions of the road that stretched from Abeokuta end, through Olorunda-Ayetoro junction down to Imeko.
Despite many appeals made to previous administrations at both the Federal and State levels over time, the people of the area continued to groan in pains as they ply the road daily.
The organization expresses its appreciation to Senator Olalekan Solomon for the bold step taken to ameliorate the sufferings of the people of Ayetoro, Olorunda, Imala, Obada Idi-Emi, Afon, Imeko, Iwoye, Ilara etc. Indeed, Senator Olamilekan Solomon has redefined what it means to be people’s representative through the exemplary developmental projects he has facilitated since his election in 2023.
Ayetoro-Yewa Patriotic Development Initiative(APDI) has called on other representatives of the Communities at the Local, State and Federal Government levels to take a cue from the Senator, and collaborate with him such that more dividends of democracy can be enjoyed by people of Ayetoro-Yewa, it’s environ and the entire Ogun West senatorial district at large.
