His father hails from Ilu Ata in Ilaro, grounding him in Yewa land, while his family has longstanding ties in Itoko and Abeokuta, the historic heart of Egba land. On his mother’s side, he traces his lineage to the Salako family of Ota, anchoring him firmly in Ado-Odo/Ota axis. Few individuals can naturally claim such a broad and authentic connection to the state’s major blocs.
His marriage into the Olunuga family of Odogbolu further strengthens this bond, weaving him into the social and cultural fabric of Ijebu land. These connections are not merely symbolic; they reflect decades of lived relationships, shared values, and mutual respect across Ogun State.
