In 2022, Chief Olumide Aderinokun became aware of the pressing issue of inadequate access to potable water in the Ire Akari community, located in Arinlese, Saje within the Abeokuta South Local Government area. Responding to this critical need, he mobilized resources through the Olumide & Stephanie Aderinokun Foundation to construct a modern borehole for the community.
This initiative not only provided a sustainable source of clean water but also significantly improved the quality of life for the residents. Three years later, the borehole continues to function effectively, serving the community and demonstrating the lasting impact of Chief Aderinokun’s commitment to social responsibility and community development. The project stands as a testament to the importance of addressing basic needs and fostering sustainable solutions in underserved areas.
Chief Mrs. Olabisi Adepoju, a prominent leader in the Arinlese community, highlighted the lasting impact of the water project donated three years ago, stating that the water source continues to serve the community effectively. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Chief Aderinokun for his generous contribution and assured him of the community’s unwavering support and appreciation for his efforts.
The continued availability of clean water according to Chief Adepoju has significantly improved the quality of life for residents, and the community remains committed to fostering a strong partnership with Aderinokun in future initiatives.
