Palpable fear has gripped up in the Ogbomoso South Local Government Area of Oyo State, as some unidentified hoodlums suspected to be political thugs invaded the polling unit at Oke Ola Farm Settlement, Unit 4A.
A source who pleaded anonymity told PLATFORM TIMES that the hoodlums were armed with dangerous weapons before they invaded the polling unit and cart away ballot papers and boxes.
The source added that, after the hoodlums were successful with their plans, they headed to the Ogbomoso/ Oyo road.
Meanwhile, reports also revealed that the ballot boxes at Ward 3 Unit 3 in Ibadan Northwest were snatched in the presence of security agents around 2 pm while, some members of the NURTW allegedly chased away PDP, ZLP and ADC agents at Cooperative polling units, housing four polling booths in Ward 7, Oluyole local government.
