Patrick Doyle criticises Davido over outfit to Olu of Warri’s palace

Veteran Nollywood actor, Patrick Doyle, has criticised singer Davido over his outfit to the palace of Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.

Davido performed at the ‘Warri Again’ concert in Delta during the weekend.

This comes a year after the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Amaju Pinnick filed a N2.3 billion breach of contract suit against Davido, after he failed to perform at the 19th edition of the ‘Warri Again’ event on October 6, 2023.

However, the singer seems to have secretly resolved his legal dispute with Pinnick as he performed at the 2024 edition of the ‘Warri Again’ concert over the weekend.

Before his performance, Davido joined the former NFF boss, singer Phyno, comedian AY Makun, and Cubana Chief Priest on a courtesy visit to the monarch.

Reacting to pictures of Davido with the monarch, Doyle, who is a native of Delta State, questioned the singer’s attire, stating that it was “inappropriate” for a royal visit.
