PDP Crisis: You Can’t Suspend Breeze, Damagun Is Party’s Problem – Dino Melaye

Former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, on Saturday said a breeze cannot be suspended.

Reacting to his suspension by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in his Ward, Melaye accused Acting Chairman of the party, Illiya Damagun of being the party’s problem.

The PDP Excos in Ayetoro Gbede, Ward 1 had suspended Melaye for anti-party activities and alleged misconducts.

The exco said the former lawmaker was suspended following his refusal to honour a summon.

The resolution to suspend the former Kogi West senator was taken by the Ward party executive committee during a meeting in Aiyetoro/Luagba Ward 1 on Friday.

This was after a review of the report of the disciplinary committee set up to investigate alleged anti-party activities against Melaye.

The resolution was signed by the Ward Chairman, Abayomi Osamika and Ward Yodson Dayo, Secretary.

However, in a video posted on X, Melaye said: “You can’t suspend breeze, Damagun is the source of PDP problems. His belly is his God.”
