PDP Labels Tinubu “Bad Market,” Says No Patriotic Nigerian Will Back Him In 2027

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has launched a scathing attack on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a “bad market” and insisting that no patriotic Nigerian would support his re-election bid in 2027.

Addressing journalists in Abuja on Monday, PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, said Tinubu’s administration had failed on all fronts and accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of governing for self-interest.

“With all the failures of the government of President Bola Tinubu, I can tell you that no patriotic Nigerian, group, or political party will support Tinubu in 2027. Tinubu is a bad market and will be a one-term president,” Ologunagba stated.

He noted that while the APC claims to be a congress, it only looks out for its members, leaving the larger population to suffer under worsening conditions of hunger, insecurity, and economic hardship.

Despite recent defections from the opposition party, the PDP spokesperson maintained that the party remains strong and united, drawing its strength from the grassroots.

“Yes, there have been defections, but our party is organic and deeply rooted in the people,” he said.

“The people are not leaving the PDP. It is the politicians who are moving, but the people are the foundation of our party—and they remain committed.”

Ologunagba argued that only the PDP has the nationwide reach, structure, and experience to rescue the country from what he called the maladministration of the APC government.

“There is no community in Nigeria without PDP’s presence. With our years in governance, we have impacted the lives of Nigerians positively. We are the only viable option to unseat the APC,” he stressed.

He added that Nigerians are already reaching out to the PDP, expressing desperation for a return to stable leadership.

“People privately call and urge us to rescue the country. The hardship is too much. Nigerians are yearning for a PDP comeback,” he said.
