Six senior officers have been compulsorily retired, with an additional two officers demoted before their retirement, according to a wireless message dated March 4, 2025, obtained by our correspondent.

The meeting culminated in the decision to retire these officers, a move that reflects ongoing efforts within the force to enforce discipline and accountability.

The wireless message, marked CH:8400/FS/FHQ/ABJ/VOL.1/346 and titled “Discharge and Retirement,” outlined specific instructions for the immediate removal of the officers’ names from the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).
