Remo Stars forward Franck Mawuena has received a call-up to the Togolese national team, DAILY POST reports.
The Sky Blue Stars confirmed Mawuena’s invitation on social media.
“Our striker, Franck Mawuena has received a call-up to the Togolese squad for this month’s 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Algeria,” Remo Stars wrote on X.
“Congratulations, Franck – we’re so proud of you.”
Mawuena has registered one goal and one assist in four appearances for Daniel Ogunmodede’s side in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.
The 31-year-old forward netted five goals in the NPFL last season.
