The Ogun State Government has debunked the rumours about dissolution of Cabinet by the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun.
News broke out on Friday about Abiodun dissolving his cabinet few days after the announcement of his re-election victory.
PLATFORM TIMES recalls that the governor has lamented that his friends betrayed him following the events surrounding his victory.
Unconfirmed published report alleged that the Secretary to the Ogun State Government (SSG), Tokunbo Talabi announced the dissolution of cabinet through a letter.
It also alleged that some commissioners who lost their local government and polling units in the last governorship elections may not return.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Kunle Somorin told PLATFORM TIMES on phone that the news is false.
Somorin said any development of such will be made public and not in secrecy.
“It is false, it is not true. Dissolving of cabinet is something that if it should be done it will be be done in the open, if there had been a replacement will not be hidden. I read the report and there was no reference to any source”, Somorin told PLATFORM TIMES via Phone call.
