Former Manchester United striker, Louis Saha has wished Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo to score 1100 career goals before he retires from the game.
Saha and Ronaldo are former teammates during their time together at Manchester United.
Ronaldo recently crossed the 900-goal mark in his career.
The Al Nassr forward scored his 900th and 901st career goals in Portugal’s recent UEFA Nations League wins against Croatia and Scotland, respectively.
Speaking on Betfred about what comes next for Ronaldo, Saha said (via GOAL).
“I could wish for him to score 1000 goals or even 1100 goals because Cristiano deserves all the respect and everyone that follows the sport should want this guy to fulfil his dreams because for kids wanting to be athletes, he is the biggest inspiration you can have. 900 goals is a massive achievement already and what he’s done is unbelievable.
“To Cristiano, 900 goals means a lot and every time he scores goals, it is like he is won the World Cup.”
