Serie A: Napoli should still allow Osimhen to train, play – Amoruso

Former Fiorentina defender Lorenzo Amoruso has said Napoli should convince Victor Osimhen to stay at the club.

Napoli are ready to sell the Nigeria international this summer.

Interested suitors are, however, not willing to pay the €130m release clause in the forward’s contract.

Amoruso, who is baffled by the situation around Osimhen, stated that Napoli should reconsider their stand on the player.

“Osimhen would be an added value for Napoli, the problem is that he doesn’t play despite earning salary from Napoli,” Amoruso told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“When you are paid for in July and August, you have to play, you have to train and play. Honestly, we are exaggerating the attitudes of the players and the agents.”
