In a significant move to enhance the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Vice President Kashim Shettima is set to inaugurate the Expanded National MSMEs Business Clinics during his one-day visit to Ogun State on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
Commissioner,Industry, Trade, and Investment, Ogun State,Adebola Emmanuel Sofela,disclosed this saying, the event will take place at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta.
He said the expanded National MSMEs Business Clinic, a joint effort between the Federal Government and state authorities, aims to address challenges hindering the progress of MSMEs.
According to him, this initiative will facilitate access to capital, formalize businesses, and provide a platform for MSMEs to showcase their products.
He added that participants will engage with regulatory bodies such as NAFDAC, SON, CAC, NEPC, and others, with qualified MSMEs having the opportunity for grant presentations.
Sofela said during the visit, Vice President Shettima will also inaugurate the Fashion Hub project at the Old OGTV auditorium.
The Fashion Hub is equipped with over 150 state-of-the-art tailoring tools, catering to stakeholders in the fashion industry.
Additionally, the Adire shared facility in Asero, Abeokuta, will be officially opened, further contributing to the development of the local economy.
