The wife of the founder of FCMB Group, late Otunba Michael Olasubomi Balogun, Abimbola Balogun, has expressed emotional tribute for her husband, wailing that no one can replace him.
Abimbola, in a PUNCH advertorial, disclosed that the deceased while he was still alive was a perfect, compassionate and kind gentle man with love that anyone could seek .
The widow described her late husband as someone she could talk to which no one can ever replace, stating that the nonagenarian might have passed away but, the love which they both shared is still strong in her heart.
She wrote , “When God was making husband, as far as I can see, he made a special soulmate, especially for me, in Otunba. He made a perfect gentleman, compassionate and kind.
“With more love and affection than one could ever find. He gave my darling husband a heart of solid gold. He gave me wonderful memories only my husband could hold.
“You were someone I could talk to, no one can replace, you were someone I could laugh with till tears ran down my face, you have gone to be with the Lord, yet the love we shared waxes stronger, knowing we shall meet again on the last day.
“You have gone to be with the Lord yet the love we shared waxes stronger, knowing that we shall meet again on the last day. Enjoy everlasting peace in the bosom of the good Lord.”
