Former Libya midfielder, Moatasem Al-Musrati has blasted the European media for the manner they reported the Super Eagles ordeal in the country.
The Super Eagles were subjected to inhumane treatment by Libyan authorities on their arrival in the country on Sunday for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday four encounter.
The contingent was stranded at Al Abaq Airport for several hours before returning to Nigeria on Monday evening.
In a post on his Facebook page, Al-Musrati claimed that several European media outlets circulated a very misleading and incomplete story.
The Besiktas star claimed the Libyans were also treated poorly by the hosts when they arrived in Uyo via Port Harcourt last week.
The game which was initially scheduled for tonight has been postponed by CAF.
