Super Falcons midfielder, Christy Ucheibe, has been named in the Portuguese Women’s League Team of the Season for 2023/24.
Ucheibe played a crucial role in the Eagles successful campaign last term.
Benfica won all four domestic titles in Portugal ( Campeonato Nacional, Taça de Portugal, and Taça da Liga, and Campeonato Nacional II Divisão).
Six other Benfica players also made the selection.
They are, Lúcia Alves, Andreia Faria, Beatriz Cameirão Andreia Norton and Kika Nazareth.
Ucheibe took the social media to celebrate her inclusion in the team.
“BEST 11 BPI LEAGUE 2023/2024 PORTUGAL!
ALL GLORY TO GOD. THANK YOU BENFICA ,” she wrote on X.
