One of the suspects arrested in connection with the abduction of Folasade Odumosu, the wife of retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Hakeem Odumosu, has confessed to the crime, revealing that an unnamed individual “gave them the job.”
However, the suspect declined to identify the person behind the abduction.
The police on Friday apprehended two suspects, 27-year-old Agbojule Smart and 30-year-old Keleke Michael, in connection with the crime.
Two other members of the gang were reportedly neutralized during the rescue operation that led to the safe recovery of Mrs. Odumosu.
The retired AIG’s wife was abducted last Thursday at the entrance of her residence in Arepo, Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The kidnappers forcefully pulled her out of her Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) before dragging her through a swampy area to an undisclosed location.
