The management of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASUED), Ijebu-Ode, has announced January 29, 2026, as the new date for its rescheduled 17th Convocation Ceremony.
The university disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mr Sunday Oladapo Oke, and addressed to students, staff and members of the public.
According to the statement, the convocation, which was earlier postponed, will now hold on Thursday, January 29, 2026, with all previously announced arrangements remaining unchanged.
“The University Management deeply regrets any inconvenience the earlier postponement may have caused and appreciates the patience and understanding of all stakeholders during this period,” the statement read.
The registrar assured graduands, parents and other stakeholders that further details on the programme of events would be communicated in due course.
He added that the ceremony would be a momentous occasion for the institution, as it coincides with the celebration of its 20+1 anniversary, marking over two decades of contributions to teacher education and academic development in Nigeria.
“We look forward to celebrating this significant milestone with our graduands, their families and the entire TASUED community,” Oke stated.
TASUED, Nigeria’s premier university of education, has continued to play a key role in the training of professional educators and the advancement of educational research since its establishment.
The university management urged all stakeholders to take note of the new date and continue to support the institution as it prepares for the landmark convocation ceremony.
