In a heart-wrenching incident, Hassan Teddy Adeyemo, a Nigerian national, is now in custody at the Orange County jail in Florida following the tragic shooting death of his wife, Sarah Nanchi Adeyemo, on Saturday night.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reports that the fatal encounter occurred during a heated domestic dispute between the couple.
The situation escalated when Hassan Teddy Adeyemo, 46, reportedly retrieved a firearm and shot his wife, Sarah Nanchi Adeyemo.
Responding swiftly to the distress call, deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the residence located on the 6600 block of Taxiway Circle at approximately 7:22 PM on Saturday evening.
Tragically, they found 43-year-old Nanchin Hassan Adeyemo suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to a nearby medical facility, she succumbed to her injuries.
Hassan Teddy Adeyemo was promptly arrested at the scene of the crime and now faces a first-degree murder charge with a firearm.
The Orange County jail became his new place of residence on Sunday, with no bond granted.
While the investigation into the incident is ongoing, authorities have refrained from disclosing additional details surrounding the circumstances that led to this tragic outcome.
