Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has hinted that the club might not be done in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners have only completed a deal for Riccardo Calafiori so far.

However, they are expected to wrap up a transfer for Athletic Bilbao midfielder Mikel Merino over this weekend.

Ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Aston Villa in the Premier League, Arteta said “anything can happen” in the last eight days.

He said: “Anything can happen and we have to be ready. A lot of surprises can come. We will be prepared.”
