Football transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that Nico Williams will not be leaving Athletic Club this season.

This is against reports that the Spain international could move to Arsenal in this summer transfer window.

Multiple reports have linked Williams with a move to Barcelona but the Catalan club could not reach an agreement with Athletic Club, and the move never happened.

Several reports suggested that Arsenal could make a bid for the tantalizing Spanish winger.

Di Marzio has now discarded any potential summer move for the Ghanaian born footballer.

The esteemed journalist claimed (via afcstuff on X): “Nico Williams, he will stay at Bilbao, he has decided to stay for another year minimum, so there’s no chance that he’ll leave in the coming days.”
