Transfer: Chelsea continue direct talk with Osimhen today, Al Ahli on standby

There is still the hope of Victor Osimhen joining Chelsea this summer.

After weeks of back and forth and disagreements over player’s weekly wage, football transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that direct talks between Chelsea and Osimhen’s camp will “continue on Wednesday.”

DAILY POST reports that Osimhen’s demand for a massive salary of £500,000 a week is stalling his move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

The striker has been on Chelsea’s radar all summer and the deal is expected to spice up in the final week of the transfer window.

Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca wants to sign a new striker this season with Osimhen top on the list.

Osimhen and Napoli have agreed to part ways with the Italians bringing in Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea this summer.

Romano added that “Al Ahli proposal remains valid on table but will only be activated if Chelsea can’t agree on terms with Osimhen.”

According to him, “[Jadon] Sancho, separate story as Chelsea see that possible if Man United want [Raheem] Sterling. “
