Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes and striker, Rasmus Hojlund have reacted to midfielder, Scott McTominay’s departure to Napoli.
The Scotland International 27, who came through the ranks at the club, left to find more playing opportunities which Napoli can guarantee.
McTominay made his debut under Jose Mourinho, Red Devils’ former boss, and has gone on to score 29 times and assisted on eight occasions in over 250 appearances across competitions.
However, the player is leaving the club when he appears to be more consistent, scoring 10 goals for United last season.
Following the confirmation of the midfielder’s exit from Old Trafford, the club’s captain, Fernandes posted (as per MUFC Scoop):
“All the best my Scottish friend Scott McTominay”.
Hojlund – who arrived at Old Trafford last summer – commented (as per MUFC Scoop): “Gonna miss u Big lad Scott McTominay”
