Chelsea are exploring a deal for Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho, according to Sky Sports.
The Blues are looking at both a permanent and a loan deal for the 24-year-old.
A proposal could also include a player being offered to go to United.
It is understood that talks have taken place between the clubs.
Juventus remain in discussions over a deal for Sancho.
Any player Chelsea sign has to fit into their wage structure. Up to seven players are set to leave before Friday’s deadline.
The average base wage of players Chelsea have been signing is below the £72,000-a-week Premier League average.
