Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Manuel Ugarte, is set to fly to UK to undergo his medicals ahead of a move to Manchester United.
The two clubs reached an agreement on a fee on Monday night.
United’s Jason Wilcox flew to Paris to finalise negotiations and was joined by Matt Hargreaves, director of player negotiations.
The deal is worth £42million plus a further £8.4m in add-ons for the Uruguay international.
United made their move after Scott McTominay closed in on a £26m move to Napoli and Hannibal Mejbri joined Burnley in a deal worth up to £9.5m.
McTominay is expected to travel to Italy on Tuesday, while Mejbri underwent part of his medical on Monday night.
