The Trisonet Metaverse Community paid has funded over 100,000 students since 2017 with the aim of enhancing educational accessibility worldwide.
This was disclosed on Tuesday,at a press conference held at the Palace of the Alake of Egba Land, His Royal Majesty Oba Dr. Michael Gbadebo.
Leading the announcement was the community’s CEO, Evangelist Happiness Etuk, along with prominent community members Ambassador Salami Saheed Oladimeji, Mr. Isaiah Emmanuel, and Mr. Udeme Bassey.
During the event, Etuk discussed the origin and mission of Trisonet Metaverse, a community founded to harness natural resources from the “cloud” to support lifelong educational access.
“Our initiative,” Etuk said, “was born from a desire to use the limitless resources provided by nature, much like solar energy, to empower people through education.”
He further explained that while products like airtime and data originate as natural resources, they are currently locked behind technological restrictions, costing consumers money.
The Trisonet Community, he stated, aims to change this by creating an inclusive system where users, especially young students, can benefit without financial barriers.
Emphasizing the community’s distinct approach, Etuk shared insights into Trisonet’s use of Web 3 technology. He described Web 3 as a game-changer for the developing world, enabling partnership instead of mere consumption.
This shift, he noted, is facilitated through the Partnership Identification Module (PIM), a revolutionary tool that allows users to join as partners rather than simply paying subscribers, as they would with traditional SIM-based platforms.
“Our system doesn’t charge a registration fee,” he explained. “Instead, people invest in a product that offers lifelong value, allowing them to generate sustainable income.”
Beyond sponsorship, Trisonet’s core mission includes instilling values in the younger generation, especially for those under 18 who are often excluded from mainstream digital ecosystems.
Through a strategic adaptation of the PIM platform, Etuk created a secure “corridor” for young participants, empowering them with community roles and responsibilities, thus giving them an early start in gaining valuable digital skills.
Etuk shared that his passion for creating such opportunities arose from observing the cloud as an untapped resource—an idea he compared to the potential of solar energy.
According to him, traditional markets have limited users to subscribers rather than partners, but Trisonet is challenging this model by offering access to a global digital economy.
“If you offered me all the oil in Nigeria, I wouldn’t take it,” Etuk said. “But give me just 1% of data in Abeokuta, and I’ll accept it because I know its potential impact.”
Since its inception, Trisonet Metaverse has expanded beyond Nigeria and is now set to enter the international market, allowing content creators, subscribers, and influencers to join autonomously.
By embracing PIM and supporting education, Etuk envisions a future where students and youth, especially in underserved communities, can use these platforms to transform their lives and the world.
As part of Trisonet’s international expansion, the community plans to invest in values-based internet usage, advocating for online safety and positive influence, a direction that Etuk believes will protect the younger generation from the pitfalls of digital fraud and online exploitation.
“We need to have internet police, people trained not just to arrest based on appearance but to safeguard our values online,” he said.
Through its unique fusion of digital partnership, resource accessibility, and educational sponsorship, Trisonet Metaverse is establishing a new paradigm.
