Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, said that nobody will take his shine because two ‘rats’ from TV that nobody knows criticized him.

The Al-Nassr forward spoke while hitting out at the people criticizing him in recent times.

Recall that Ronaldo recently suffered criticism from pundits and fans over his failure to lead Portugal to glory at the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany.

The 39-year-old failed to score a goal at the Euro 2024 as Portugal were eliminated in the knock-out stage.

There were also calls for him to retire from international football and give room to younger players in the Portugal team.

However, speaking on the development on Rio Ferdinand Presents, Ronaldo said:

“People always take the worst part, not always the good part. But I’m not going to finish my career because two rats criticise me.

“The world loves me, the fans love me. This is my motivation to carry on football. People love me.

“No one is going to take my shine away because two people from TV that nobody knows criticise me,” he further stated.
