Nigeria’s Flamingos have started training in Santo Domingo ahead of the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, DAILY POST reports.
Bankole Olowookere’s side arrived the Dominican Republic capital for a two-week training exercise on Thursday.
The West Africans are expected to play a number of friendlies before the start of the competition.
The Flamingos are drawn in in Group A with hosts Dominican Republic, Ecuador and New Zealand.
The Nigerian girls will take on New Zealand in their opening fixture on Wednesday 16.
Dominican Republic will host the competition from October 16 to November 3.
