The village Head of Maigari in Rimin Gado local government area of Kano State, Alhaji Dahiru Abba has been killed by unknown gunmen.
This was confirmed by the newly appointed Permanent Secretary of Judiciary in Kano State, Alhaji Sanusi Abbas, who at the same time is a family member of the deceased.
Abbas stated that the late Village Head, who is also the biological father of the present Chairman of Rimin Gado local government council, was attacked by unidentified gunmen in his residence early on Sunday.
The attackers inflicted various degrees of injuries on his body before shooting him dead.
He explained that the burial ceremony will be conducted same day at his residence by 10 am in Maigari Village of Rimin Gado local government, Kano State.
“May his soul rest in Aljannatul Firdausi,” the Permanent Secretary added.
