Asisat Oshoala scored the decisive goal as Bay FC recorded a 1-0 away win against Seattle Reign in their UWSL fixture.
Oshoala fired home the winning goal from the spot three minutes before the half-hour mark.
The Nigerian has now scored seven goals for Bay FC this season.
The win took the modest club to eighth position on 28 points after 22 games on the 14-team league table.
Oshoala moved to Bay FC in February 2024 after severing ties with Barcelona.
Bay FC will be away to Gotham FC in their next league game on Sunday.
