The Lead Pastor of Victory Life Bible Church International (VLBC), Abeokuta, Apostle Lawrence Achudume, has officially unveiled “Christmas on The Rock”, an annual carol brand designed to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with grandeur and compassion.
The 2025 edition, themed “The Manger and His Majesty,” is scheduled to hold on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Victory City, opposite Ogun State Television, kilometre 12, Ajebo Road, Abeokuta.
According to the organisers, the event will feature a blend of spirituality, entertainment, and charity, including songs of hymns, red carpet reception, orchard and Father Christmas show, empowerment schemes, a carnival with cuisines, and a special celebration by fathers of faith. The occasion will also host VVIPs and other dignitaries.
While inaugurating the carol planning committee, Apostle Achudume charged them to partner with well-meaning individuals, groups, and corporate bodies to bring joy to the less privileged during the festive season.
“Christmas is a season of joy, excitement, and comfort. At Victory Life Bible Church, our vision is to spread that joy to humanity. We call on partners and supporters to help us put smiles on the faces of the needy,” the cleric said.
On his part, the Chairman of the 2025 Christmas Carol Committee, Elder Akin Okudero, promised to transform Victory City into a wonderland befitting a tourist centre where children, youths, and adults alike would experience the splendour of Christmas.
“Our goal is to make the event not just a celebration but an experience of joy, unity, and hope. We are open to partnerships and sponsorships to make this vision a reality,” Okudero assured.
The committee urged interested individuals, groups, and organisations willing to support the event to reach out via +234 803 318 5643 for details.
