In a heartfelt display of solidarity, a passionate assembly of young individuals from the Panseke area of Abeokuta flooded the streets to demand justice in the wake of the untimely death of the beloved musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, renowned as Mohbad, who tragically passed away last Tuesday.

Gathering at the bustling skating ground arena in Abeokuta, these youth, cloaked in somber black attire, raised their voices and brandished placards etched with powerful messages such as #JusticeForMohbad and #WhoTurnedOffTheLight. Their poignant signs underscored a fervent call for answers and justice in this perplexing tragedy.

As previously reported by PLATFORM TIMES, Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records, under the patronage of Azeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, departed from this world at the tender age of 27.

Naira Marley, grappling with the profound loss of his friend and collaborator, emphasized that Mohbad was not merely an artist or a signee but a cherished brother and confidant.

Amidst the cloud of grief and questions surrounding Mohbad’s passing, the Lagos State Police Command has taken action.

They officially commissioned a 13-member special investigation team to delve into the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of the Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, affectionately known as Mohbad.

Speaking about the investigation, Lagos State Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa, declared, “Do not forget, we have unique access with INTERPOL. Everybody linked to it (the death of Mohbad) will be identified and they will be brought to establish their level of involvement.”

As the investigation unfolds, the rallying cry for justice echoes through Abeokuta’s streets, as hundreds of youths stand united in their quest to unveil the truth behind the tragic loss of a talented young artist.
