The 13th Gateway International Trade Fair is set to commence at the M.K.O Abiola Trade Fair Complex in Laderin, Abeokuta, starting from Friday, April 19, 2024, and will continue until Monday, April 29, 2024.

According to a statement signed by the Commissioner for Industry, Trade, and Investment, Mr. Adebola Sofela, the fair, organized by the Ogun State Government in collaboration with the Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA), will provide a platform for both local and international exhibitors to showcase a wide array of products.

This year’s edition, themed “Achieving Economic Prosperity Through Business Connection, Trade, and Investment,” will be officially inaugurated by the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

Highlighting the enhancements of this year’s fair, the statement mentioned various innovations, including a raffle draw program where ticket holders stand the chance to win a grand prize of a two-bedroom bungalow, along with other exciting prizes.

To facilitate transportation for participants and visitors, free bus services will be provided from different routes, including OPIC Roundabout/Kuto, Lafenwa/Olomoore/Ita-Osin, and Adatan/Fajol/Obantoko.

“We encourage Nigerians to participate in this year’s edition of the Gateway International Trade Fair.

The State government, in collaboration with OGUNCCIMA, has taken necessary measures to ensure that this edition surpasses all past ones through increased product offerings and various initiatives,” the statement emphasized.

Additionally, an entertainment village will be set up at the fairgrounds, providing attendees with a place to relax while enjoying delicacies, beverages, and music.
