Fifteen suspected internet fraudsters were on Monday arrested by operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in Benin City.
The Commission said the suspects were arrested following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in computer-related fraud.
EFCC disclosed this in a statement on its X page on Wednesday.
Items recovered from the suspects include four exotic cars, laptops and phones.
The anti-graft agency added that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are completed.
