No fewer than 19 persons have been confirmed dead in an auto crash that occurred at Hawan Kibo area of Riyom Local Government Council in Plateau State.
It was gathered that the vehicle was travelling from Adamawa State to Abuja when the accident occurred on Tuesday morning.
Confirming the incident, Peter Yakubu, Plateau State spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), said that all passengers in the vehicle died.
‘No one survived the accident. The sole person taken to the hospital later succumbed.
“Eighteen died at the scene, while one died at the hospital,” he added.
