    20 Millionaires To Emerge In Wema Bank’s 5for5 Promo

    No fewer than twenty millionaires will emerge in the season three of Wema Bank’s 5for5 promo.

    The Nigeria’s leading financial institution has also revealed that over 90 million naira is up for grabs for customers across the country.

    The executive director, digital and retail Tunde Mabawonku, represented by Olusegun Adeniyi made this disclosure at the press conference to launch the promo in Lagos on Friday.

    The promo is to start from July 1, 2023 and will last for 10 months seeing two millionaires emerge every month across the country.

    Adeniyi said the promo is borne out of the need to do more beyond seamless banking and giving back.

    He added that it is part of the bank’s efforts to be a support system to customers by giving back and rewarding their loyalty.

    “Any customer can win. A petty trader making less stand a chance to win.
    The bank drives financial inclusion. This is a way to connect with customer, meet their needs. Season 3 may be the push you or your business needs, keep your account funded, reactivate if need be, keep making transcriptions and you can be lucky. Fund with at least #5k monthly, maintain that amount, make a minimum of five transactions using the card, app or USSD and you can be qualified to win up to a million naira,” he said.

    Explaining further, the Divisional head of retail, Ayodele Olojede said the promo will continue to run year in year out to show that customers loyalty is not taken for granted.

    She added that “over 300 customers will be rewarded monthly, with a chance to win up to 1 million by a customer. With several giveaways.

    Speaking on how the bank follows up with winners, it was explained that the bank “monitors what they do, their progress and business; some of the winners attend SME business clinics.

    The Chief Human Resource Officer, Oladele Ogungbenro explained that a Commercial on major Tv with adoption of English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and pidgin in recognition of diversity and inclusivity and to as well to ensure the message gets to every part of Nigeria.

    Allaying fears of customers, the bank assured that there are regulatory bodies monitoring the process and whatever fund was deposited during the promo remains accessible by customers.
